Routine Care & Cleaning:

Avoid long term damage by properly cleaning the tub on a regular basis. This will help lengthen the life of the tub, as well as ensure that the tub remains hygienic and safe for use.

We recommend using water and soap for routine cleaning. Ammonia detergent or bleach are also allowed, if necessary. While cleaning, in a circular motion, try not to extend the stained area, only apply the cleaning solution to the necessary area, then quickly rinse with warm water and wipe clean.

For stubborn stains use a soft cloth or sponge (nonmetal!) with a mild cleaning solution. Always clean in a circular motion.

Most stains can easily be wiped away with water alone. These include stains as a result of: Household Soaps, Hydrogen Peroxide, Nail Polish Remover, Oils, Shoe Polish, Synthetic Detergent. Other stains might require a cleaning solution, ammonia, or bleach. These include stains as a result of: Cosmetics, Crayons, Eye Shadow, Hair Coloring Agents, Oil Ink, bath bombs, and bath salts.

Routine Maintenance:

Damage Caused by Heat: Although  Resin Tubs are made to withstand very high temperatures, direct contact with hot metals, such as hot irons, or curling irons, will damage the resin surface. To ensure the surface is protected, please do not allow direct contact of any material other than; hot water, soft heating pads/towels, and sponges. Temperatures higher than 170ºF are not recommended and can damage the tub.

If small scratches appear you may use 220 grit sandpaper (fine) to lightly sand the necessary area in a circular motion until smooth again and scratch disappears. Immediately follow with soap and warm water, rinse, and wipe clean.
